All Weekend
When: Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8:15
Where: Samuell Grand Ampitheater, 1500 Tenison Parkway, Dallas Texas
Cost: $7-10
The scoop: Classic Shakespeare comedy performed by Shakespear Dallas. Become a member and get free, unlimited admission to the whole summer season! Food, beer and wine are permitted on park grounds.
Friday
When: Friday 6-9 PM
Where: 1720 Gendy Street, Fort Worth 76107
Cost: Free!
The Scoop: Armadillo races, live bands and of course plenty of burgers!
Saturday
When: Saturday 3-10 PM
Where: Watters Creek, 970 Garden Park Drive, Allen Texas
Cost: $15 with all proceeds going to the Allen VFW
The Scoop: This looks like SO much fun. Classic car show, live music from Blaze of Glory (a Bon Jovi tribute band) and a sidewalk sale to boot.
When: Saturday, 2-5 PM
Where: Vetro Glassblowing Studio, 701 South Main, Grapevine Texas
Cost: $60
The scoop: Party in the glassblowing gallery! Registration includes a handblown beer mug of dad's choice, Lakefire Rye Pale Ale courtesy of Grapevine Craft Brewery and an afternoon of live glassblowing and historic baseball chat.
When: Saturday at 6
Where: Fossil Rim, 2155 County Road 2008, Glen Rose, Texas
Cost: $18-24
The Scoop: What a fun way to share dinner with dad! The open air safari takes off right before sunset and you're sure to catch some really great sightings.
