Weekend plans: June 7 - 9th

Hiya! It's time to make those weekend plans. To get you started, here are some ideas: 

All Weekend 


When: Friday and Saturday at 7:30, Sunday at 3:00 
Where: Rose Marine Theater, 1440 North Main, Fort Worth 
Cost: $18-25
The scoop: The Rose Marine Theater is home to Fort Worth's only Hispanic theater company. In the Heights is an award winning musical telling the story of New York's Washington Heights neighborhood.

When: Friday and Saturday Final Round 7:30-10 PM, Sunday Final Round 3:00-5:30 
Where: McDavid Studio or Van Cliburn Studio
Cost: $10-135
The scoop: It's the final days for one of the world's finest piano competitions. 

Friday 


When: Friday at 5
Where: The Modern 
Cost: $10 
The scoop: Featuring Nick Kithas and Friends and yours truly doing the 20 minutes tour (6:30)

Saturday

June 8: The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe

When: Saturday at 1
Where: FW LIbrary Central Branch, 500 West 3rd, Fort Worth 
Cost: Free!
The scoop: What's better than a free movie with the fam? Pick up some books while you're there. 


When: Saturday at 8:00 
Where: Booker T, 2501 Flora Street, Dallas 
Cost: $5-15
The scoop: Featuring a score from Chase Dobson, a senior at Booker T, Avant choreographed 3 new works for it's spring program. 

Sunday 


When: Sunday at 8:15
Where: Fort Worth Botanical Gardens 
Cost: $20 lawn passes, kids 10 and under are free
The scoop: We LOVE concert in the garden season! Bring a picnic and blanket, relax under the stars, enjoy great music and fireworks. THis show features music from the 1940's big band era and looks amazing. 

We're herding a 5 year old while his parents are celebrating their anniversary, so it'll be fun to see what we end up doing :0) Have a great weekend ya'll!
