It's Thursday! Which means that it's time to start thinking about your weekend plans (well, those plans that involve getting out of your PJ's anyway). Here's my roundup of ideas:

The Scoop: 20+ Vintage clothing and jewelry vendors
When: Friday (3-8) Saturday (10-5)
Where: Grapevine Convention Center, 1209 South Main, Grapevine
Cost: $8 for both days
Extra: Keep an eye out for Fort Worth's own Bess and Evie's!

The Scoop: Probably the prettiest display of tulips you'll enjoy this side of Amsterdam
When: All weekend, with activities like tours and music occurring Saturday and Sunday
Where: 8525 Garland Road, Dallas Texas
Cost: Tickets are $10-$15. On site parking is $5 if purchased in advance online or $10 day of

The Scoop: The FW Stockyards annual family friendly St. Patrick's Day celebratiion
When: March 16 1:00-4:30ish
Where: 130 East Exchange Ave, Fort Worth Texas (I get the feeling it'll be big)
Cost: Free
Extras: pony rides, petting zoo, face painting, gun fight reenactment and all around shenanigans to wear out your kids

Dallas St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival
The Scoop: The parade formerly known to everyone in Dallas as the Greenville St. Patrick's Day Parade has rebranded for 2013. I suspect it'll be the same old-fahioned, beer drinking, emerald clad crazy with a slick new logo.
When: March 16th, 11AM-whenever you pass out on your buddy's front lawn
Where: Upper Greenville Ave, between Southwestern and SMU Blvd.
Cost: Free, but the cost of trying to get those pictures off of FaceBook is not included.
Happy planning!
