On Friday, we met up with our friends Arielle and Eric for some Indian Food. Tandoor resturant was highly recommended by a few colleagues and it did not dissappoint. We did however decide it was a little quiet, so next time we might bring speakers and insist that everyone do the Harlem shake with us.
Afterwards we stopped by Brewed for some coffee/desert/margaritas. The Margarita machine was out, but that didn't stop us from getting some fresh donuts and coffee!
On Saturday, I hit up Zoe's Kitchen and University Park with my friend Sarah. It's been a while since I've been shopping, but I really missed the girl time more than the actual shopping. It was the perfect relax trip for me! Gap is having their 30% off Friends and Family Sale (online code GapFriends), so I picked up 2 new pieces:
This is the Shrunken Boyfriends Shirt in ladybug print and it make sme OH SO HAPPY. It's like old Anthro- just normal enough to fly under your HR radar but quirky as all get out. I forsee lots of lady bugs in my future.
I also picked up a 2nd pair of the Perfect Trousers. I could live in these pants which is saying something for a skirt girl. I find that I reach for them most when I don't have court and can wear a cute cardigan or a 'separates' kind of jacket. They fit amazing and are very soft.
On Sunday I had a quick breakfast at Torchy's Tacos with Sierra. She gave me all the dirt on the Saint Patty's Day shennigans we were just too tired to take part in and all around made my morning happy!
Sunday afternoon we celebrated my sister in laws 17th (holy crap) birthday! I've known Cami for 10 years now and it still amazes me that she's older than like 11. I'm so proud of everything she has accomplished and I can say without a doubt that she's one of my favorite young ladies to spend time with.
Please excuse the terrible Iphone picture aaannnnnd terrible food choice :0) To celebrate Cami, we had a family bbq at our house complete with a special sprinkle cake.
That super cute cake stand is by Prissy Plates and was picked up over at Nothing Bundt Cakes in FTW. It was really fun to have Jason's family over and my mom stopped by to say hello too. Sunday evening we went on a walk to enjoy the perfect Texas weather (72 and sunny in case you were wondering).
What'd you do this weekend?
